Attention 8th Graders
Midland High School is looking at starting a NEW Esports Club for the upcoming 2019 school year. The club will be open to all students at all grade levels. We are looking for student who would be interested in joining the club, whether you want to compete in Esports themselves, see what’s involved in Esports or would like to learn more about them, we would love to have you in our club.
Since this is a NEW club, we will be developing it over the summer so it’s ready to go in the fall. With that in mind, there may be times we will need to get together over the summer to help establish the ground rules, format for the club, and come up with a Club Name.
If you are interested in being part of this NEW Club, feel free to put your information down on the signup sheet in the Northeast office. We look forward to hearing from you.

Cars 4 Classrooms Event
Thank you so much to everyone that attended our Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms event last week! Our goal was 150 participants in order to achieve $3,000, and we are thrilled that we had over 175! We couldn’t have achieved this without our amazing parent and student volunteers and all participants! Our NE Vikings are truly amazing!
Mark your calendar for our last Culver’s night of the school year scheduled for June 5th from 5pm to 9pm!
Cottage Creamery Punch Cards
If you haven’t already gotten your punch card, we have them in the office and will also have them on a table during tomorrow’s awards ceremonies for all grades. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Cottage Creamery will be donating $1.00 to our school after 10 purchases. Simply use the punch card after each purchase and turn in when complete. We can earn up to $250 just for enjoying ice cream treats and more!
The Viking Parent Association (VPA) has a new Facebook page. Please like us to keep informed on what we are doing to support Northeast students.
Does anyone have a contact that may have a nice wheelchair to donate? We have one that is very old and not working well anymore. When a student gets hurt during school, we use the chair to transport the student to the office. If you do have a resource, please call or email the office.
